Charming, bright, humorous Porcelain Figurine of a lucky Mouse with a huge slice of cheese, originally from the USSR. Produced in the 1980s of the last century.

Underglaze green Gorodnitsa mark on the bottom of the work.

Bright, colorful underglaze painting. The work is painted by hand.

Pretty big job. Height 18 cm. Length 11 cm.

Perfect collectible condition. No visible damage, chips, cracks, microcracks and manufacturing defects.

The porcelain factory in the village of Gorodnitsa, Novograd-Volynsky district, Volyn province, was built by the Czartorysky princes in 1799 and later became famous.

After the October Revolution of 1917, the enterprise was nationalized, during the civil war the plant suffered, but after the end of hostilities, along with other enterprises of the glass and porcelain and faience industry, it was transferred to the Main Committee of the Glass and Porcelain Industry of the Supreme Council of National Economy, restored and resumed work under the name Gorodnitsky porcelain factory named after the Comintern.
